Reconstructive surgery of the female pubic area and genitals

Injuries, tumors or congenital abnormalities can disfigure the outer female genital area. Function and sensitivity can be impaired through scars or adhesions after operations or childbirth. In large areas of Africa "circumcisions" are still carried out as part of tradition, which result in mutilation.

All these changes can only be individually treated and corrected following a personal diagnosis. For this reason, a general description of the operation is not possible.
