The image of a shell reflects the shape of the outer female genital area (vulva). Ideally they are firm and fully formed, the outer labia envelop the inner labia. Individual predispositions or age-related influences can result in significant differences.
Most often this concerns the inner labia. Their appearance can differ in size and length, so that they are no longer covered. Variations can also occur for the outer labia. They can seem too large or lose elasticity. Their shape no longer corresponds to the ideal image of a shell.
