Before the operation - Preoperative care and preparations
A clarification and consultation should take place 14 days before the operation. After this discussion, you will receive all relevant documentation, which you should read at your own leisure and bring along signed on the day of the operation. To reserve the date of the operation you will be required to pay a deposit of 500 Euro. Your deposit will of course be offset against the final bill.
On the day of the operation, another examination takes place and all remaining questions can be clarified and discussed. It is very important that you rest locally after the operation. A long homeward journey is not is not recommended. We will be pleased to assist you in choosing a suitable hotel.
Before the operation
Your pubic area should be completely shaved for the operation. A few hours before the operation, please take the painkillers and antibiotics prescribed by us. We will of course instruct you precisely as to how to take these drugs. Drugs that affect blood clotting, for example Aspirin or Marcumar, should be stopped at least 14 days before the operation. Please discuss this with your general practitioner.
For corrections of the genital area, a local anesthetic is generally sufficient. If you desire, we will additionally give you a sedative. Half-sleep of full anesthetic are also possible, as you desire. You only need to have an empty stomach on the day of the operation in case of half-sleep or a full anesthetic.
